YEEZY Stationery Design
Project Narrative
This conceptual project explores what YEEZY's brand identity would look like translated into a complete stationery system. Drawing inspiration from Kanye West's minimalist design philosophy, every piece — from letterheads to envelopes to business cards — uses stark typography, raw textures, and an intentionally constrained color palette.
Translating Fashion to Print
YEEZY's visual language is rooted in clothing textures, architectural spaces, and digital media. Translating that raw, brutalist energy into flat print materials required finding equivalent design tensions — heavy vs. light, rough vs. refined, maximalist scale vs. minimalist restraint.
Brutalist Print System
We used oversized typography as the primary design element, letting letterforms bleed off edges and create their own visual architecture. The paper stock choices, embossing techniques, and deliberate negative space all serve to recreate the brand's physical presence in a two-dimensional format.
